An 11-minute walk to the Les Prodains gondola, or 3 minutes to the free ski bus.
You can walk up through Chemin d'En Ly or up the main road in the walking lane. At busy times you'll see people trying to park on the main road, and many walk up the hill below the house.
The walk from the house to the Les Prodains cable car, restaurants and ski hire shops is 11 minutes. It's uphill, but your legs will be ready for skiing by the time you get there; it's our morning warm-up and our preferred way up to the snow for adults. On busy days we often beat the traffic that queues past the house, and the buses can be full at peak times.
You can walk up to the Les Lans bus stop (green 2 on the map above) in 3 minutes, or down to the stop next to the free parking (green 1) in about 4 minutes. If you're heading to Morzine or Les Gets, the stop is on the other side of the road.
The ride to Les Prodains takes a few minutes or less; the ride into Morzine is about 8 minutes. We always favour the Les Prodains lift to Avoriaz for higher slopes and better snow, but it's great to experience all the areas if you have time.
There's paid parking at the Les Prodains cable car, but it fills up early in peak weeks. Later in the day or at the end of the season you can usually park along the road around Les Prodains, but it's not advised in the main season.
If you're driving into Morzine, there's underground parking at the Pléney lift.
